Pizza (Without oven)
Time : 1 + 1/2 hours
Ingredients:
👉 For dough:
4 cup all purpose flour
1 packet yeast (11g)
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 tablespoon salt
1/2 cup lukewarm water
1 tablespoon oil
👉 For pizza sauce:
3 tomatoes (paste/crushed)
1 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1/2 tablespoon black pepper
👉 For toppings:
1/2 kg boneless chicken (chopped)
2 chopped capsicum (optional)
2 tablespoon chilli flakes
1 pack of sliced cheese (10 slices)
1 tablespoon oil
Salt to taste
👉 For baking:
A big pot (in which pizza plate can fit)
Salt (to add to bottom of pot)
Directions:
1. In a small bowl pour 1/2 cup lukewarm water, add sugar, salt and full packet of yeast. Mix it and cover for 10 minutes and let the yeast rise.
2. In a separate bowl, add flour and knead with risen yeast water until a dough is formed. After that add a little oil on surface of dough and keep in warm place for about 50 minutes and let it rise. By that time dough will double in size, knead it once again, cover it and keep aside.
3. For pizza sauce, add ground tomatoes in a pan and stir until water dries. Then add ketchup, garlic powder and black pepper and make fine paste. Then turn off flame.
4. Now add 1 tablespoon oil to a pan, add chopped chicken, capsicum and salt and stir fry. After 5 minutes add chilli flakes and turn off flame when chicken is done.
5. Put salt to bottom of big pot, cover with lid and put on medium flame for 10 minutes.
6. Now divide the dough in 3 or 4 portions depending on pizza plate size. Heat a flat pan (tawa) and roll 1 piece of dough into round bread and put it on flat pan. While bread is on that side, poke bread randomly on the upper side by using a fork. Now flip bread and let it stay on heat a little longer than the other side. Turn off flame when bread is about half cooked.
7. Now put this bread on pizza plate. Add pizza sauce on it and spread evenly. To that add chicken pieces generously and 3 slices of cheese. Put pizza pan in preheated pot and cover with lid. And bring heat to low.
8. Check after 10 minutes, and keep checking until cheese completely melts down. Then take out the pizza plate.
9. Cut into big slices and enjoy.
