Chocolate Cupcakes

Servings: 10-12 cupcakes
Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
👉 For batter
1 cup all purpose flour
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1/4 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 cup oil
3/4 cup castor sugar (powder form)
1 egg
1/3 cup milk

👉 For baking
12 silicone cups
Baking tray
Oven

Directions:
1. In a bowl sift all purpose flour, cocoa powder and baking powder and keep it aside.
2. In another bowl crack the egg and to that add castor sugar and mix by using a whisk/ fork. Then add oil and mix it. In the end add milk and mix everything.
3. To this batter add your dry ingredients and mix gently by using a spatula. Mix gently leaving no lumps but try not to over mix it.
4. Line silicone cups on a baking tray and pour batter into cups. By using a spoon fill 3/4 of cup space. This recipe will yield 10-12 cupcakes.
5. Now put them in preheated oven at 180•c for 20 minutes.
6. After 20 minutes take them out and do toothpick test by putting toothpick in center of cupcake, if it comes out clean then cupcakes are ready.
7. Let them cool and then take them out of silicone cups and enjoy with your tea.

Precautions:
1. If you are using paper liners instead of silicone cups then you should use cupcake tray with that. Otherwise the liquid batter would spill out of paper cups.
2. Preheat oven for 10 minutes at 180•c before baking.

Tips:
1. You can also use wheat flour in this recipe to get Iron. When measuring, use 1/2 cup of wheat flour and 1/2 cup of all purpose flour and you wouldn’t feel any difference in taste.
