Chocolate Bread Loaf

(Without Oven)

Servings: 11-12 slices
Time: 1 hour

Ingredients:
๐Ÿ‘‰ For mixture:
3 cup all purpose flour
2 cup castor sugar (powder form)
1/2 cup oil
2 eggs
6 tablespoon cocoa powder
2 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 cup milk

๐Ÿ‘‰ For baking:
Bread pan (11” x 6”)
Butter paper
2 tablespoon oil to grease pan
Big pot (in which bread pan can fit)
Salt (to add to bottom of pot)

Directions:
1. Put pot on medium to low heat and add salt to its bottom. Cover it with lid and let it heat for about 10 minutes.

2. Then grease the bread pan with oil. Now put butter paper in bread pan in such a way that paper has flaps sticking out of pan so its easy to take brownies out. Then grease butter paper with oil.

3. In a bowl add dry ingredients (flour, cocoa powder and baking powder) and mix.

4. In a separate bowl add 2 eggs and sugar and mix by using a whisk or fork. Then add oil to that and mix together leaving no lumps.

5. After that add milk and give it a mix. Now add dry ingredients (flour, cocoa powder and baking powder) and fold everything gently by using a spatula and don’t over mix it.

6. Now pour batter in greased bread pan and then give pan a little tap on the shelf so there are no bubbles in the batter.

7. Put pan in preheated pot, cover with lid and leave it on low heat for 45-55 minutes. Keep checking after 45 minutes by putting a toothpick in centre of batter. If it comes out clean from the centre then cake is done. If pick has liquid batter on it then it will take some time.

8. When done, take pan out and then take bread out of pan and let it cool down.

9. Cut into slices and enjoy with your evening tea.

Precaution: Your cake may take 40 minutes to bake or it may take above 1 hour depending on heat and temperature inside pot. Never take out bread/ cake undercooked. Only take them out when pick comes out clean from centre of pan because centre takes more time to bake (puff up) than sides.
